infotainment and navigation systems
It has been nearly three decades since Clarion developed the ground-breaking NAC-200 Voice Guidance Car Navigation System. Since the early 1990s, we have continuously innovated and pushed the envelope of what a car navigation system can do for the driver. Whether through high-resolution split-screen displays, Eco routing, or telematics integration (such as Real-Time Traffic and Electronic Toll Collection), Clarion has seen and done it all. We have integrated functions of not only center stack displays, but also are able to drive multiple displays throughout the vehicle including the instrument cluster.
Clarion capabilities in this area include:
Hands-on experience with a broad range of Operating Systems and hardware platforms, ready to be customized for compliance with automaker platform strategies
Focus on Automotive Safety Integrity Level (ASIL) when driving functional safety-related displays
Extensive experience in system integration and vehicle LAN systems such as CAN, LIN, MOST, Ethernet, LVDS, FPDLINK, & MIPI
